Gastroesophageal reflux disease, or gastroesophageal reflux disease, acid reflux, etc., is a common urban disease in Hong Kong. Gastroesophageal reflux refers to the backflow of gastric juice into the esophagus. Symptoms include: acid reflux, burning pain or discomfort in the chest, nausea and gas, foreign body sensation in the throat, difficulty swallowing, persistent cough, and even lung infections.
Studies have found that most patients often do not find that their discomfort is related to gastroesophageal reflux in the early to mid-term. Prolonged gastroesophageal reflux may cause esophageal inflammation, esophageal stricture, and even develop into precancerous lesions in severe cases. Early diagnosis and Treatment is necessary.
